Ten New Flavors Heat Up the Freezer Aisle
Halo Top’s existing seven flavors of low calorie, high protein ice cream were sweeping grocery stores nationwide and stirring up quite a buzz online. Ready to introduce ten new flavors of ice cream, they were looking for us to create a social media campaign to generate awareness for the new flavors.
Challenge
Halo Top Creamery was ready to launch ten new flavors of its low calorie, high protein ice cream and were looking for a social media campaign that would tease, excite and activate ice cream lovers everywhere.
Solution
Tapping into Halo Top’s most loyal fans, followers, and celebrity influencers; we created a teaser campaign for the ten days leading up to Halo Top’s product launch on 10/10. Once the pints were available, we launched a #ScoopItUp challenge on social media where fans snapped a photo of their favorite pint for the chance to win a year supply of ice cream.
Results
Through a combination of our influencer outreach and #ScoopItUp challenge, we generated over 158 million social media impressions, 115% increase in Instagram followers, and 247% increase in the number of messages received during the campaign period.
